Shaheed Dr. Mohammad Mofateh

Dr. Mohammad Mofateh, the skillful scientist and philosopher, was born in 1928 in Hamedan. After finishing his Phd & studies in the Qom Seminary, he started to teach the university students in 1969. Doctor Mofateh had a resume full of political activities, especially in the month of Ramadhan and Moharram and Safar. He was put into the jail in 1975 and Shah's men closed the door of the mosque. He was also exiled to Zahedan Province. He performed the prayer of Eid-ul-Fitr in 1978 in Qeytariyeh in which about one million people took part. After praying he gave a very revolutionary and crucial lecture and invited people for demonstrations of 17 th and 18th of Shahrivar as a result of which he was prisoned for 2 months. He was martyred on Dec3, 1979 and was buried in Qum in the holy shrine of Hazrat Masoomeh (SA). He has written so many books among which we can refer to the Translation of Tafsir Kabir Majmaolbayan, The way of thinking on logic.
